What is an AI integration?
An AI integration connects a language model like Claude or GPT to software a company already uses, so the model can read real data and take real actions. The difference from a chatbot subscription is that the AI works inside your systems: it sees your customer records, writes to your database, and follows your business rules.
How long does an AI integration project take?
A focused integration, one model connected to one or two systems with a clear job, typically takes two to six weeks from scoping call to production. Larger builds with several data sources or custom agents run longer, but I always scope a first working version you can evaluate within weeks, not months.
Which systems can AI be integrated with?
Practically anything with an API or a database: CRMs like HubSpot and Salesforce, help desks, ERPs, e-commerce platforms, internal Postgres or SQL Server databases, spreadsheets, and email. If your team can reach the data, an AI system can be connected to it.
What happens with our data?
Your data stays in your systems. The model providers I use offer enterprise API terms where prompts are not used for training, and for EU companies I design the integration to keep data handling GDPR-compliant, with EU hosting where required. Data flows are documented as part of every handover.
Do you work with our existing developers?
Yes, and it usually makes the result better. I can build the integration end to end, or design it alongside your team and hand over the parts they should own. Either way you get documented code in your repository, not a dependency on me.
